Vinegar crystal signature is not to be cleaned off the surface by standard methods. Therefore we invented an emulsion that thoroughly takes away the crystals without damaging the film emulsion at all. Removing the crystals recovers the glazed film surface and the light passing through the film won‘t be scattered.

Mold will not only destroy film just like vinegar syndrome but in earlier stages makes the film unscreenable and respectively unscannable. As a living substance mold grows into the emulsion and is also not to be cleaned off with standard methods. By modification of the chemical composition of our self-invented emulsion.

Special gauges such as 17,5mm middle-perf negatives can be wetGate transferred here, after we developed an adaption for the scanner, giving perfect reproduction for these 100yrs old films. Due to our own modifications and developments for the scanning equipment we can perform wetGated transfer for carved negatives, broken and torn perforation, thick splices as well as deformed films.
